Dr. Cumbest joined LCI in 2011 and has over 30 years of experience performing geologic and geophysical evaluations at site and regional scales for multiple facilities. These activities included design, implementation and oversight, including interpretation and modeling involving several geophysical and geologic techniques under rigorous Quality Assurance Programs. Recent work includes PSHA and site response calculations for critical infrastructure projects including nuclear power and hydroelectric facilities. In addition, Randy has served as technical lead for fault characterization studies at Savannah River Site, a large US Department of Energy facility.
